Marge
Dillon brings to the agency's programs great versatility
and experience in advertising, promotion and public
relations. Her client base ranges across the spectrum
from fashion (children's wear and men's sportswear)
through major retail (major department stores -
Philadelphia and New York) department stores to
industrial and financial enterprises (Atlas
Traffic Consultants, Dascit/White & Winston,
Inc.) to tourism and travel (Argentine
National Tourist Office and the countries
of Kenya, Zambia and Morocco). Besides conventional
advertising, promotion and public relations, she
planned and executed special events, handled vendor
relations, opened urban and suburban shopping centers
and complexes, and mounted infinity of special
promotions. She was responsible for launching Finnair's
Trans-Atlantic inaugural and to her credit
belong many successful major department store openings,
in Philadelphia and New York.
Travel accounts, which have benefited from her
expertise, include Finnair, Zambia Airways,
The Gambia, Kenya Airways, KLM and Aerolineas
Argentinas.
Before joining the Bradford Group, Dillon
was employed for five years by a leading Philadelphia-based
advertising firm. Prior to that, she worked as
assistant to the Advertising/Promotion Director
of a major manufacturer of large domestic appliances,
where her duties ranged from client contact and
the planning and execution of special events to
creative writing and press relations.
Dillon is listed in Who's Who in American
Women, The World's Who's Who of Women, and The
Directory of International Biography of Who's
Who. She received the Notable American
Award from the American Biographical
Institute, and The AMITA Award for Advertising
Women of the Year, an organization celebrating
Italian-American women of achievement.
Dillon served on the International Executive Board
of the
Africa Travel Association (ATA) and
was Program Chairman of the
11th Annual Conference of
ATA in Atlanta, May 1986, the first USA venue, and
served again as Program Chairman of the
13th
Annual Conference that was held in Zimbabwe,
and
the 15th Annual Conference held in Morocco.
