Obituary of Mira Berman
The Founder and former President of the Bradford Group:

Mira Berman. Founder and President, the Bradford Group. Mira Riva Berman beloved wife of Professor Richard Freedman died on June 29. She along with her mother and sister miraculously escaped the holocaust and reached the United States. Ms. Berman, was a child prodigy violinist who gave up a solo career in order to help her family. She was also a writer, author and marketing expert. She established significant advertising agencies such as Allerton Berman and Dean - known for its outstanding creativity particularly for Jewish (UJA) and Israeli causes (Israel Government Tourist Office). Ms. Berman was founder and President of the Bradford Group, and past Executive Director of the Africa Travel Association. Her career in advertising and public relations was marked by remarkable achievements and awards including Advertising Woman of the Year, The International Film and TV Festival's Television's Gold Medal and Grand Award (/Israel 25)/; Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality's Founder's Award; International Institute for Peace Through Tourism Lifetime Achievement Award; Tanzania Tourism's Outstanding Leadership Award, the ATA Leadership Award. The funeral will take place at the Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Ave., Thursday, July 1, at 9:30am.
