Jane
Thompson brings to the Bradford Group extensive
experience in strategic development, and oversight
and implementation of these strategies, campaigns
and special projects on behalf of Bradford’s clients.
Under the Bradford Group representation of Executive
International Headquarters Office for the Africa
Travel Association, Thompson was responsible for
oversight of administration and organization for
the annual ATA Congress inclusive of conference
venue selection, hotel and air negotiations, site
inspections, and program coordination. She works
with the Society of Accessible Travel and Hospitality
(SATH) advising clients on how to integrate this
component into their tourism product. In addition,
Thompson served as ATA liaison to National Tourism
Boards, Ministers of Tourism, Ministry Officials
and the private sector.
Prior to joining The Bradford Group, Thompson
was Vice President of the prestigious marketing
research firm DYG as well as Yankelovich, Skelly
and White.
Thompson is a past member of the Advertising Women
of New York, Travel and Tourism Research Association
(TTRA), past Board Member/Secretary of Women’s Executive
International Travel Association (WEXITA). She has
served ATA as Board Secretary, Board Vice President,
Chairman of the Award Committee, Chairman for the
Annual Congress. and currently serves as Board member
and Board appointed Chairman of the Election Committee.
She also serves on the Advisory Board of SATH and
is SATH liaison to ATA. Thompson is the recipient
of the International Academy of Tourism’s prestigious
NOAH Award as well as the ATA award for Outstanding
Service to the Association.
